We follow the most advanced codes and standards such as ASCE/SEI 41 to retrofit structures with supplemental damping systems.

We also collaborate with our international colleagues and researchers to design cutting edge technologies. These technologies include Viscous-coupling dampers (VCD) and Self-centering energy dissipation (SCED) systems that have been recently developed at the University of Toronto (see the figure on the left).
